I obtained these Iceland poppies from a friend who grows them in east Austin. They were almost too beautiful to behold and I wanted to spend every moment I could painting them. I arranged these florals, pre-mixed my colors and painted these in one day. Since I have small children, I had to work through my art process throughout the day, during their nap times, and then finish when they went to bed for the evening. 

My heart for this painting is to make walls happy and joyful!
