The Art
What is the difference between an original and a print?
An original means that it is artwork that was created by the artist’s hand using tangible and traditional art methods (not digital). There is only a ONE of a kind original of that art piece, therefore it is considered more valuable than a print.
A print is a replica of the original artwork through laser jet printing on other surfaces and materials such as smooth fine art paper or matte photo paper. You can also choose a different size to have printed, other than the size that was originally painted.
What materials do you work with?
Oil originals are painted with oil paint on canvas or linen panels. The process of painting with oil can be messy and lots of precautions are used since the materials are more fragile, expensive and volatile.
Illustration originals are painted either with watercolor, gouache or acrylic onto a variety of surfaces. Depending on the paintings, I might use 140 lb. hot press watercolor paper, canvas or wood.
I paint in multiple mediums because I simply love the process of painting and exploring new ways of art expression.
Shipping
What should I know about the cost and timeframe of shipping?
Shipping timeframes and costs will vary depending on the product and the size you purchase.
There are two separate locations where items from my store are shipped:
Original Artwork & items from my Gift Shop are shipped by me, from Austin, TX
Prints and items from Shop Art are shipped from a third-party vendor in High Point, NC
Originals
How is it shipped?
Original artwork is packaged professionally to encourage safe delivery. When shipping original artwork, an email will be sent to you with the tracking information. A signature will be required for delivery.
How much does it cost to ship Original Artwork?
Shipping and Handling for original artwork is based on weight:
Small to medium orders - $10-$20
Medium orders - $16-$40
Large Orders - $30-$50
How long will my Original Artwork take to deliver?
For original artwork, please allow 7-14 days for delivery.
If it is a custom original, please allow 1 month for painting + shipping and handling time.
What is your return policy on Original Artwork?
I want you to be happy with your purchase and do my best to give you all the necessary information you need before you purchase. I am willing to give you a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. Please email me as soon as possible and we will work out the details.
If the Original Artwork is damaged from shipping, I will take care of the shipping costs in the event you want to return it back to me.
Prints and Merchandise
How long will it take to get prints and merchandise?
Prints are processed and shipped from a third-party vendor.

The cost of shipping merchandise is determined based on weight and the delivery option you choose. Standard shipping is usually between 3-5 business days.
What is your return policy on returns for Prints and Merchandise?
I use a third-party vendor and their return/exchange/refund policy is as follows:
There is no charge to replacement or refund for any quality issues. We will provide a refund or a no charge replacement for any orders damaged in shipping. For a refund or replacement, please anneke614@gmail.com. There’s a 15% restocking fee that is applied for any order canceled or exchanged.
Can I cancel a Print order?
Unless your order has already gone into production you can cancel it. Please contact anneke614@gmail.com as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order.
How do I return my package?
Please make sure you keep all the packaging so so you can mail it back to me. We can work out the details together, just email me: anneke614@gmail.com

Are you open to commissions?
Yes, I am open to commissions. Prices vary depending on complexity, time, and material costs. You can fill out the contact form and we can get started on customizing something just for you!
