I am honored you would consider me to paint something special for you!

Here's how it works:

1. Fill out the form and tell me a little bit about your project

2. I will get in touch with you via email and we can continue finalizing the plan. If a phone call is necessary, we can arrange that via email. 

3. Once payment is made and you have sent me any necessary photos, I will begin your project. 

4. When the project is complete, I will email you photographs of the final piece. 

5. I will ship it to you as soon as the painting is completely dry. If you are local, then we can arrange pick-up or delivery. 

Oil Painting Details

I can create an oil painting of a subject of your choosing including anything floral, still life or landscape related. Works are painted on a 1/2 inch canvas or panel unless otherwise specified. Price may increase depending on the canvas type requested.

Depending on the timeline requested, paintings can take 2-5 weeks for completion. Each project is unique, and I take each project very seriously. Oil paint dries much slower than any other medium, and cannot be packaged and shipped until the painting is completely dry.

PLEASE NOTE: I do not do pet portraits or human portraits. However, I can do pet and human illustrations (see watercolor details below)

Watercolor Painting Details

My watercolor work is primarily illustrative and is not meant to be realistic. I paint in a whimsical, child-like style, so please keep that in mind for your project.  I use Arches 140 lb Hot Press Paper, I use high quality paints, and I leave a 1" border around the piece for easy framing. For watercolor, I use standard framing sizes. 

The timeline for watercolor varies, but as mentioned above, we can discuss your project to make sure you have exactly what you want. Remember, this artwork is one of a kind and is customized just for you!

**Children's Book Illustration Requests**

I often get inquiries to illustrate children's books, and will only consider projects that have the following:

1. An author who has a full, written manuscript that has been edited by peers.

2. An author who has researched the children's book market, how publishing works, and already has a plan in place for publishing.

3. A generous timeline (6 months at minimum)

4. A budget to pay up front. Most picture books have 16 spreads, unless it's a board book. My rate is $150/spread.
